The Beginning

This blog has been a LONG time in the making. I have always had a passion for writing, and knew that I wanted to get back to it but didn't know the best approach. Thanks to some unvoiced advice from a dear friend, I came up with this idea. I did a little blog style writing on a site that he is well aware of off and on for years. In fact, I will pick that back up and continue as well. But...in addition I wanted something of my own.

I feel refreshed and excited about the prospect of making some serious "life" and "life-style" changes. These changes will help me to become a better person, a more recognizable person to myself. Someone who is happy and content. I wanted a place to express myself, and share with those I care about along this journey.

With that being stated, let me say a few things up front....

1. If you think you know me......and you follow me.....I assure you there might be some elements of surprise along the way. Be patient, be kind, and never judge. Remember, I have and will never judge you (wink)

2. This blog is not for the faint of heart....I will be open and honest. You are more than welcome to comment and provide feedback, in fact I welcome it...but just remember that honestly, this isn't about you....it's about me (for the first time in a long time) :-)

3. The ideas, comments, opinions, beliefs etc. that are expressed do not represent those of my family. HA! I know it sounds goofy, but it's something I have to put out there. I am my own person, with my own experiences and perception. I represent myself.

4. Language- I am a lady, but don't expect it to be all sugary and flowery because it will not be! Get ready...

Now that I have put those thoughts out there, it is time to get started. I hope you enjoy :-)
