If you want something done right....

Any similarity?
The Look I was going for

stop looking at my face and look at my brows. LOL

the shape and arch are perfect!
Those who know me well know that when it comes to my self-maintenance and upkeep there are a few things that are a must... 1. My nails- always have to keep the mani & pedi up to par. 2. Hair- I like it as long, thick, dark and straight as possible (we'll come back to that later). and 3. My EYEBROWS- which is the point of this! So I have been in NWA since the end of July and it took this long for me to find someone who could do my eyebrows the way that I like them. First of all, I prefer threading to waxing because it lasts longer, is better for the skin, is safer and looks better. I searched the mean streets of NWA (Northwest Arkansas, incase I never explained that before) and could not find ANYONE who threaded. I resorted to waxing by a couple of different stylists and no one could create the shape and look that I wanted. So...when I ran into someone who had some amazing looking eyebrows at the mall, and she told me where she gets hers done. I decided that before I went, I would find a picture to show the look I was going for since the shaped of mine had been completely jacked up! Low and behold in my favorite magazine, Cosmo I found this picture of Drew Barrymore in a Covergirl Ad it was perfect! I took the picture with me, the lady (Cristina) was very nice. She took the picture showed me how she would need to re-arch my eyebrows in the mirror and went to work. Every step of the way she kept giving me the mirror to show me the progress. Though it took longer than usual, and more off of my thickness than I usually like, when she finished I was in awe. She created the shape that I wanted based on the covergirl pic, and she did a damn good job. So if you want something done right......sometimes is takes patience, good people who know what they're doing, and a little help from a picture! My eyebrows are back, my black hair is back and now I need to go get my mani/pedi! And if you think it's materialistic well......who cares, you're not paying for it. I am!
